Requirements:

[Using application for mobile banking]

  1. GPRS enabled,java supported phone.
  2. An account in SBI

Process:

First go to to your mobile browser and browse for link to http://mobile.prepaidsbi.com/sbiwap/ .Then browse for mobile banking and choose the application for your mobile.

Alternatively, you can simply logon to the site : SBI
Down load the appropriate application for your phone model. Say for example Nokia 5800, Sony ericsson G502 etc.

If you cant find your phone listed in the list, follow these techniques:

Find the operating system and screen resolution of your phone and choose the download. Say for example if you have a Sony ericsson G502 mobile. It is not listed in the list of application downloads. Now check for the information about the phone’s OS. It is Java platform[Most Sony are Java mobiles] with version 8.2.1 [To know your version look for the info in Internet or thye maufacturers info guide or use this short cut for Sony Ericsson:Press the right key once(joy stick right) and press *.again press left key twice and press *.Now press right key and press *.The screen will display the details, In short: Sony Ericsson Secret Menu: -> * <- <- * <- *(-> means press joystick, arrow keys or jogdial to the right and <- means left.)

Else simply choose a generic version.

Using the data cable and PC suite transfer the application to your mobile. Install the application in your mobile.

Now send a message from your mobile like, type "MBSREG" without quotes and send to 567676. The cost for every message via mobile banking will cost about Rs.3.00/sms.

An user ID with a pin known as MPIN will be given to you via SMS. the user name is allocated for you and cant be changed. As soon as you get the ID+Pin, Go to the application and type the user ID to login. It will ask for confirmation . Click confirm .Now change the MPIN and message back, confirming that you have changed the MPIN.When you have correctly typed then the software will navigate to the application home page which looks like the below image.

If not, the malware might capture some information.
There are several things you can do to help mitigate the potential damage that hackers can cause
through social engineering sites. If you wish to get
involved with online gaming or Farm ville, then create a 3rd separate
    account.
